Happy 10th Birthday Noah!

Our baby boy, Noah, turned "double digits" Sunday (June 11th). He is now 10 years old! Where did the time go? It just seems like yesterday this sweet little black haired baby boy was placed in our arms. Oh how I miss those chubby cheeks of yours!

Happy Birthday Noah! You are such a blessing to our family. Your constant smile and kindness helps to place love and laughter in our home. You are always willing to help everyone around you and you always have something funny to say. You sure do "keep us on our toes". I hope you had a wonderful 10th Birthday! And I pray that God continues to live in your heart and guide your every step as you travel on your precious journey and grow into the man you will become.

You had a busy birthday week by attending Vacation Bible School. The last day of bible school you enjoyed the VBS picnic then everyone came to our home to celebrate your birthday. You loved all of your presents... you are always so happy, easy to please and you have such a grateful heart. I love that about you. I love being your Mommy!

Sunday, on your birthday we left for a mini family vacation. You have always wanted to visit the Ark Encounter and we were blessed with complimentary tickets to review it. Therefore, we traveled to Kentucky to see the Ark and also visited the Creation Museum, Newport Aquarium, traveled through Indiana (checking another state off our list) and visited Cincinnati, Ohio. We had an amazing trip! You were all smiles and you loved that Momaw, Popaw and your cousin Abbie was able to join us. (There are more details about our trip HERE!)

We are so proud of you Noah! Thank you for being the sweet, happy, goofy little boy that you are! May God continue to bless you in everything you do!

We love you,
                Mommy, Daddy and Aidan

Kentucky/Ohio/Indiana Vacation

Our family along with my niece and my parents went on a mini vacation this past weekend. We had a wonderful time! Sunday was our youngest son, Noah's 10th birthday and he wanted to visit the Ark Encounter. We made a few little stops along the way. We started out by visiting the Creation Museum in Petersburg, KY. You can see our review of it HERE!

We also drove into Indiana while we were at the museum. It was only 10 minutes from there and we wanted to check another state off our list. Going across the Ohio River was beautiful and definitely worth the trip.

We stayed in Newport, KY (just across the river from Cincinnati, Ohio). The kids loved swimming in the pool at Hampton Inn and visiting Newport On The Levee. It's a nice place full of restaurants and shops along with Newport Aquarium. You can see our review of the aquarium HERE! Italian Fest was going on while we were there with great music and amazing smells of food in the air. There are also stunning views of Cincinnati at night. We enjoyed walking across the bridge and driving to Ohio during the day.

Monday we went to the Ark Encounter. You can see our review of it HERE! It was amazing! Noah picked a great trip for his 10th Birthday! After the Ark we traveled back home. It was a quick yet, perfect getaway!
