Hollywood Wax Museum

Our family was given the opportunity to visit the Hollywood Wax Museum and their surrounding attractions in Pigeon Forge, TN. The Hollywood Wax Museum is the longest-running wax museum in the United States. They are open 365 days a year from early until late. You can visit their website for seasonal variations HERE

This is a wonderful family attraction that people of all ages can enjoy. My husband, myself and our two sons (ages 10 and 9) had a blast dressing up in the props for funny "photo ops".

I could post hundreds of pictures. But I promise to only post three more of my absolute favorites!

To tell you a little more about The Hollywood Wax Museum there are two levels to visit (steps or an elevator to take up to the second level). The way the museum is spread out it truly gives you time to visit each figure, take pictures and not be rushed.

They offer so much to add to the excitement of your visit. Your main attraction are the wax figures however, they also have information about the actors, people, etc.. and a few little jems to keep you occupied as you adventure through the museum.

For an extra fee you can upgrade to a VIP pass and experience the The Great Ape of Pigeon Forge! He stands over 102 feet above Parkway Blvd and weighs 34,000 pounds. He is definitely worth the visit and the views are amazing!

I would also like to add the employees were very nice and helpful in every way. They help to make your experience an enjoyable one! And be sure to check out the gift shop. Our boys enjoyed picking out a few treasures to bring home.

We also visited the Castle... inside are three attractions. Just the look of this castle is amazing! The attractions are:

  • Hannah's Maze Of Mirrors - There was once a kingdom called Savannah with a Princess named Hannah. She was locked in a maze and it's your job to save her. You get to make your way through 288 potential turns among hundreds of mirrored walls and archways to free the Princess. This was a fun adventure and our oldest son was able to help us find our way out quickly. The boys enjoyed this adventure and we saved the Princess!
  • Castle Of Chaos - This is a 5D adventure battle against evil. You will see, hear, feel and smell the chaos. You must be at least 4 years old and 42" tall to ride. Having two boys and a silly husband of course they were all in competition during this ride. It ranks your score and they all wanted to win! (Daddy had the highest score).
  • Outbreak, Dread The Undead - My boys were too scared to try out this attraction however, there were many people going through and they all had smiles when they returned. This experience is filled with hordes of the undead. You visit the laboratory of ChemaCorp, a global leader in biotechnology and you come face-to-face with a military experiment gone terribly wrong. Your mission? Contain the outbreak (many zombies) and make it out alive.. and screaming!

We were so blessed to visit these attractions and our family enjoyed our day trip to Pigeon Forge, TN. Be sure to visit soon you won't be disappointed!!!
